Back with a vengence
Just came back from Japan and saw the 3 Tsubasa 2002, nearly sold out in every bookstore! For those who grew up with this epic, this is like a taste of cotton-candy! The first 2 volumns are so-so, mainly due to my extreme bias in Hyuga-san! Here we have the repetitive theme of OH MY GOD, spoiled little Tsubasa can't wear his favourite 10, or can't even make it to Series A... gimme a break. Maybe he'll actually grow up this time, how's that for a breakthru in Takahashi-san's writing skill! But for Hyuga-san, it's great to see him getting the limelights he deserves. Anyway, it'll surely put a smile on your face. Regardless of the cheesiness, they story is still gripping, and we the fans cannot resist!

Great! Now they are in Europe!
After getting their world youth championship, Tsubasa and all his friends continue their journey in professional soccer. Transferring from his professional soccer club in Brazil, Tsubasa is now in Spain finding ways to continue sharpening his skills in order to prepare himself for the World Cup in 2002. However, he now faces a new challenge in Spain. Unless he is able to surpass this one man in his new soccer club, he will never get to wear the precious number 10 jersey again.......................

Excited to see Captain Tsubasa again~
Waiting for so long and so glad to have this book came out finally!!! For the fans of Captain Tsubasa's comics, it always be great to be able to read it~ And, if I can grade more than 10, I will~ Road to 2002, book 1, started a bigger target -- the World Cup and the European pro Soccer. And, they are not always "sure win" situation now~ "Learning from experience and failure." Just also encourage ourselves!! And, still very enjoy the drawing and story by Takahashi, Youichi. Just hope he can write and draw faster, release it more and more!!! You will love it!!! ^o^
