March 31, 2011 A classicI must say that I bought this album out of pure nostalgia. Listening to it always takes me back to 2008, when I was a newbie to Kpop and I only knew Lee Hyori and these girls. When I got it in the mail today, it had been a long time since I last listened to it. Listening to it reminded me of how much I love it :)
Nobody is a song that I'm sure everyone has heard: it was the Wonder Girl's third smash hit in a row, and it's still populair today. The Rainstone Remix adds something new to it, and it's a great addition to the single. I Tried and Saying I Love are slower, and very sweet (but not cutesy!). I love the lyrics and the girls' vocals.
This single was also their last proper release in Korea (besides 2DT). They have since been MIA to 'prepare' for an American debut. So if you're new to Kpop, don't know the Wonder Girls and want to buy a classic, this is a must buy!

Big Bang Mini Album Vol. 4
Big Bang Mini Album Vol. 4
(28)Our Price: US$15.99List: US$22.99Save: US$7.00 (30%)Usually ships within 7 daysFebruary 24, 2011 They're back! After more than two years of solo's (and a duo release), BIG BANG is back as a group with a mini album. So far, people seem to absolutely hate it or absolutely love it, so here are my thoughts on it :)
Tonight is the title track, and a good choice in my opinion. It's an awesome mix of electro and guitairs (a combination I love), and very well done. It's bound to get you dancing. What Is Right is completely guitar based, and sounds great aswell. Cafe is absolutely frigging gorgeous amazing (I guess you could call it the Baby Goodnight of this album, it's just THAT gorgeous) etc etc. On top of that, the boys sounds so good on it... It'll make you melt. And then we have Somebody To Love and Hands Up, which had already been released before. Despite my love for STL, I wasn't happy with those to being put on the album. I wanted 6 new songs, not just 4! What I can say now is that they fit in perfectly and I even like Hands Up ;)
What I dislike about the album is that it once again is the GD/TOP/Taeyang show. Daesung and Seungri are overlooked and ignored, again. I know that that is the harsh reality on most BB releases, but it just pisses me off that Daesung and Seungri don't get to show any of their flawless voices, while Taeyang gets to sing parts that are out of his range.
Overall, I think this is an awesome album though and a solid comeback. You should definitly buy it if you haven't!

GD & TOP Vol. 1

December 27, 2010 Awesomeness :)In response to 'abra007': YesAsia is based in Hong Kong, NOT South-Korea. This is why the release date is different (usually a few days later) and why you don't get a poster with it ('small' extra's such as a free poster are usually limited to S-K).
On to the cd itself. I think it is quite outstanding and worth it! All of the songs are good: you've got hiphop/dance tracks (HIGH HIGH, Knocking Out), slower ones (OH YEAH, Baby Good Night (one of the best track, completely in love with BGN!)) and darker, rock type ones (OH MOM, Especially Today, Nightmare). GD and TOP are amazing musicians and this showcases that once again.
As for the packaging: it is basically the same as 2NE1's To Anyone, but in GTOP style! Both booklet and casing are of great quality.
A highly recommended release!
