Is Hamasaki Ayumi going to Nagase Tomoya at the end of the year and quitting the entertainment industry? This rumour of her marriage has been hitting headlines, and while we can't confirm this rumour for you, we can confirm that on September 28th, Hamasaki Ayumi will be releasing a new single, Carols. New single 'Carols' contains poetic lyrics, describing the scene of autumn and winter beautifully: an ideal way to prepare yourself for the weather ahead.
This single contains three versions of the song: CMJ's 'Criminal Tribal Mix', Daisuke Kawai playing the Hammond Organ in 'Hammond B-3 Whisper', as well as an instrumental version of the song. As an added bonus, the first track is encoded in 5.1ch surround sound!
This version is SACD hybrid which can be played on SACD player or normal CD players. Please note that you can enjoy 5.1ch surround sound ONLY on SACD players.

This song is very beautiful and the lyrics are amazing. The front cover is very pretty and she always looks so beautiful. She sings so good on this song but the remixes are sadly terrible and does not fit the song at all. Buy the whole album instead and 10 stars are for the song only. |

It's beautiful.
It's beautiful.
| First of all, look at that cover. It's so beautiful, don't you think? The song "CAROLS" is a really touching ballad, you need to go to an internet site and read the lyrics. Listening to the song is so relaxing, and the song is just so beautiful. Plus, we've got remixes here! I love the remixes. They're great! I wouldn't buy the CD+DVD version of this, because you'll get the MV/PV on MY STORY's DVD anyway. Even if you only want to buy this single because of its beautiful cover, do it. The song and the single is all worth it! |

Great song!
| Another winter with Ayu. This time we get a very emotional ballad with a great and wmotional PV. Many say that the PV is plain and boring. I think that it's simplicity is just beautiful. The remixes included on the single on the other hand are really unnecessary... they are really bad and I wish that the single had only two tracks - original mix and instrumental. Still the single is a great purchase - just look at the cover! It's magnificent! |

CAROLS!
| Get the CD only version...because the MV is not good, in my opinion. And jsut to let you know, the os version is no longer available for 6.49 (the price that I paid)-summer sale. But I still recommend this single. The song is very emotional and meaningful, from beginning to end. Everyone can imagine their own 'CAROLS' scene, while listening to this. The Criminal Tribal Mix is awesome! I liek remixes of ballads, and those are rare for Ayu now, so get this! |
