Catch! Touch! Yosshi! (Japan Version) Nintendo DS

Baby Mario and Yoshi team up in this entertaining Nintendo DS game, which makes extensive use of the system's unique touchpad! Also known as Yoshi's Touch and Go, Catch! Touch! Yosshi! is an innovative action-platform game which requires you to use the Nintendo DS touchpad and included stylus to defeat familiar Mario foes while guiding Yoshi and Baby Mario on their merry way.

Yoshi, Little Mario's Savior

Catch! Touch! Yoshi! is a showcase for the revolutionary gameplay possibilities of the Nintendo DS. C! T! Y! uses both Nintendo DS screens simultaneously to maximize the gameplay area and interactivity. For example, you can draw clouds on the screen using the stylus to protect Baby Mario from enemies and lead him to Yoshi.

Draw clouds on the screen

Cloud=Bridge
Draw clouds to cushion Baby Mario or help Yoshi walk across safely across gaps. Wanna blow away all those clouds piled up on your screen? You CAN really do that with the built-in microphone!

Coin your enemies

Bubble Time
Circle enemies in big cloud traps and watch them wander around before drawing a tighter circle to turn them into coins. You can also feed Yoshi with food circled by bubbles.

Tap and jump

Give Yoshi a Tap
Yoshi walks on his own on the ground but you can also tap him using the stylus to make him jump! Dodge enemies and collect coins by jumping. Continue tapping on Yoshi to keep him airborne, allowing passage over gaps, traps, or other assorted baddies.

Tap & Toss

Toss Your Eggs
Lay eggs with Yoshi and then toss them at your foes or coins! Tap on the "mark" using the stylus to determine your egg-tossing direction.

Game Modes

SCORE ATTACK
Get coins and score! Bonuses are given when you collect multiple coins via a combination of egg-tossing and enemy-to-coin transformation. Maximize your bonuses!

TIME ATTACK
Save Little Louis in the shortest period of time! Toss eggs at Louis' kidnappers to stop them, or say bye-bye to Louis and/or your high score.

ENDLESS
The distance Mario travels translates into your score. Collect 100 coins to spawn a star, then grab the star to make Mario invincible!

VS BATTLE
Using the wireless connection, 2 Nintendo DS owners can challenge each other in a 1000-meter race! Race to get the best time, or simply try to trip your friend up!
