지난 해 1월 삼성동 코엑스에서 가졌던 공개 오디션을 시작으로 무려 3000 여명 이상의 경쟁을 통해 선발된 "캣츠" 는 박수정(23), 한소유(21), 순심(24), 김지혜(21) 여성 4인조 로서 보컬, 안무, 연기 등 다방면의 오디션을 통해 발탁 되었으며 멤버 모두가 최소 3년 이상 씩의 준비기간들을 거친 대단한 재원들로 인정받고 있다.
뮤지컬 "캣츠" 지향한 네이밍에서 보듯, 가수로서의 뛰어난 라이브 실려과 안무, 연기력이 두루 겸비된 마치 한편의 뮤지컬을 보는듯한 무대를 선보이겠다는 것이 소속사 측이 제시한 그룹 캣츠의 컨셉이다.
1월 27일과 28일 MBC쇼음악중심과 SBS인기가요에서
첫방송을 시작한 캣츠는 제 2의 핑클이라는 평가를 받으며, 벌써부터 뜨거운 관심을 받고 있다. 앞으로 전개될 그녀들의 화려한 무대를 기대해본다.

Very Unique~!

Cats, a fairly new girl group all have unique and strong voices. Tracks that stick out on this album are: Handsome Boy (01), Baby Cat (03), Darara (Take Your Chance) (06), Tell Me Now (08), and Say (09). The rest are all pretty good, but don't stand out as much, I've never been too big of a fan of slower songs anyways... Cats is a great girl group if you're over the whole 'School Girl' thing that Wonder Girls has going on... |
