Her title song is a great dance track. It has more of a European feel to it rather than something Korean. Both her and Taec Yeon did a great job with the song. Her second song sounds like something from the 70s. Not too bad of a song if you like disco. The third song was the only ballad and it was decent. I was excited to see that there were remixes of the title song. Unfortunately, none of them really stood out after listening to them. The Super Touch Refix was probably the only remix that was worth listening to and stayed true to the original. With the other two, it seemed as if they took random parts of the song, got rid of the rest and added some random beats to make it more "danceable" I'm assuming. Pretty disappointing.
Overall, if you're a big Baek Ji Young fan, you might enjoy this. Those that enjoy her softer songs and more recent things may want to stay away.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Baek Ji Young Vol. 6

September 25, 2007 ChangingI read reviews online saying there were a lot of ballads on this CD, and I'm not too big on ballads, but I thought I'd take a risk and buy it, seeing as Baek Ji Young has never failed me in the past.
This CD is good and bad, depending on your taste. This has a lot of slower songs, which is great for newer fans. For older fans that love her upbeat tracks and Latin-style songs, you won't find too many of those (no Latin-style songs were on this CD), which is disappointing.
If you like ballad-type songs, you should definitely check out this CD. For more upbeat songs, you might want to stay away.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Baek Ji Young Vol. 5 - Smile Again

April 19, 2006 Great CDIt's been a while since Baek Ji Young released something. It's about time too since it's been too long.
This CD has a mix of both dance (Latin style mainly) and ballad type music. Her title song (Sarang Ahnhae) is a really nice ballad-type song. Her dance songs are great, such as EZ Do Dance, Woo Ah, "Chook Jae" and IRONIC, all having a Latin-style beat to them.
If you like Latin-style music, then you'll like this CD. Even if you don't like Latin-style songs, there are many nice ballads on this CD. This is definitely worth checking out.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
February 17, 2006 Cute
Wind is an interesting song. This song shows Kumi's cute side, which you don't see too often. The song is also really easy to the ears, nothing too crazy or anything. I think it's one of her best singles out of the 12 she's released. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
No Regret (Japan Version)

January 29, 2006 One of my FavoritesNo Regret is probably one of my favorite singles by Kumi. The song kind of reminds me a little bit of her past songs "Cutey Honey" and "Butterfly". The pv for it is also pretty good. This is definitely worth buying! Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

January 16, 2006 Not a whole lotIn my opinion, this CD is good for new Lee Jung Hyun fans. If you have all her Korean and Japanese CDs, you're not really getting a whole lot (well in fact hardly anything except a remix of her song Passion). She did choose some good Korean songs to put on her album like Peace, Dala Dala and Ari Ari.
Hopefully soon she will release more singles and make new songs.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
you (Japan Version)
December 11, 2005 Worth ItI never really liked ballad-style songs. After listening to this song, I have to say that I'm pretty impressed. This is really a great song. The PV to this song is even better! This is definitely worth buying if you're a Kumi fan. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

(25)Our Price: US$17.75Usually ships within 7 daysOctober 5, 2005 Grows onto youI'll admit when I first heard the song, I didn't like it. I was like what kind of song is this? I mean it didn't sound all that great, and I didn't bother finishing the song. I saw the music video for this, and it kinda got onto me. After a while of watching this, I eventually started liking it slowly. It's not really her best work, but it's still good enough. Yeah some people complain about this single, but it's better than nothing I think. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

The song is very pretty and Koda looks so beautiful in the video. Star is a good song too. If you're a Koda Kumi fan then you should definately get this CD! Did you find this review helpful? Passion - Jonetsu / Heavy World (CD+DVD)(Japan Version)
(4)Our Price: US$19.49Usually ships within 7 daysAugust 22, 2005 Mediocre...I don't know what to say about this single. Passion sounded different from the Korean version. This version isn't bad. It's pretty good. Now her new song Heavy World....it sounds like it's not really her style. I don't really know what to say except that it just doesn't suit her very well. Anyways if you're a big Lee Jung Hyun fan then get it. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)
