still worth it

The first piano album of Chan gave me an ecstacy. The seond one is of a much expectation. I was actually disappointed a bit bec I think he can be more versatile and variable than this. From the cover, it almost looks like another EEG ( Ying Wong ) production. I hope he can include songs from other singers / other music pdtn companies. Last album includes a wordy section which impressed me a lot--a pinhole into the mind of a song writer with a great classical bkgd and zealous love for music, this time there are just words of thanx from the singers. It sounds more commercial. I hope I can hear songs of diff styles next time. Pls don't just one monopolizing company monopolize your style! I know that Chan wrote many songs for other people in the past even though they are not as popular. My best liked pieces from this album is Joey's " Last song ". If you just have money to buy 1 album, buy the first album. But if you have already brought the first, you can't resist buying the second two. |
