This drama brings out the theme of unequal treatment of women in Korean society. The main character plays a 29 year old woman whose only goal in life is to marry her boyfriend and become a housewife. Her dream shatters however when her boyfriend marries someone else. Experiencing countless failures, she begins to attempt living a life of independence in hope of success. My only complain for this series is that they could've found a better looking actor to play the main character's boyfriend (eventually ex-boyfriend). He was definitely not a good match for the role that he played. Even though the drama drags on a bit longer than I'd wanted, I still think it's worthwhile to watch....especially Chae Rim and So Ji Sub!

CR is very beautiful here, but only in a supporting role. Unfortunately, the story centers on her elder sister, a insipid woman. Except CR's part, a very dull and dragging drama.

I like the combination of So Ji Sub and Chae Rim since the TV drama of Dating Now. They are the perfect match!!! In Cheers For The Women, the story mainly focus on Chae Rim's elder sister, I am a bit disappointed. I don't like how Chae Rim's elder sister reacts when her 6-7 years relationship come to the end, a few weeks of sorrow is definitely understandable. But keep dragging on a dead relationship or even tracing her ex to ruin his honeymoon trip is very very silly. Girls, let's cheer up!!!

I like it because the show has demonstrated how inbalance a relationship can turn out to be when one has become too dependent on another one. It is a very entertainng plot too, so very enjoyable to watch.
