Why she keeps being so underated?!

Why this excellent singer keeps being almost unknown?! I mean, she is really a GREAT singer, and this new album (wich I didn't even know that existed, I got it yesterday) is something beyond my expectatives, very rockish, and beautifully performed by Yonekura Chihiro, I hope you all give it a try!! this is pure quality J-Pop! |

OK...I received what is probably the best box of CDs EVER from YESASIA today. In it was Goto Maki's "Third Station"...which I reviewed as amazing (with the exceptions of tracks 1 and 5), Kumaki Anri's newest 2005 release...which I reviewed as her standard solid perfection, "Kaze no Toorimichi" by Horishita Sayuri...which I am about to review as a magnificent debut and lastly...this CD! I have loved this singer ever since I bought "Spring...Start on a Journey" by her. And she just never, ever dissapoints. Her energy is infectious and her sound is breath-taking. All I know is today felt like Christmas: I have 4 astounding new CDs to play and they are all excellent in their own way. Some are up-tempo and loud, others are slow and soft. Perfect for any mood. My praise to YESASIA for carrying such a varied and fabulous selection of popular Japanese music to the American market! These CDs are priceless and I love them all. Especially this one. Chihiro has a special place in my heart, because she seems so sincere in her songs and so down-to-earth in her presence. She doesn't act like she's perfect...but buy this CD and you will see: she IS! I say, "Cheers, to YOU Chihiro"! |
