Chelsia Chan was quite a legend in the Hong Kong entertainment industry. She started her career as a singer in 1975, and her screen debut, Chelsia, My Love, paved the way for her stardom in the film industry. Her popularity even extended to Korea, which was quite rare for Chinese stars at that time. She retired from her fabulous career in 1981 when she got married and moved to Malaysia with her husband, and did not return to the music scene until 2006 when she released her new album Flying Our Dream in Korea. Her debut movie, Chelsia, My Love, also starring famous singer Kenny Bee, is now available on disc again for fans!

Directed by Sung Cheng Shou, Chelsia, My Love sees Chelsia Chan as a girl suffering from a chronic disease. She encounters Leung (Kenny Bee) in her graduation ball and they fall in love with each other, but can their romance last forever? The theme song One Summer Night also gained unprecedented popularity across Asia, and is still many Korean fans' summertime favorite. Chelsia Chan performed the Korean version to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the film's release, and the song is available in Flying Our Dream.

李秋霞幼患心疾，經其父李伯豪好友方醫生診斷後，證實為先天性不良心漏症，豪為免家人擔憂，故將此事藏於心底。霞在中學畢業會上認識了華僑馬國輝，互生情愫。方醫生之子方子良對霞心存愛意，而秋霞之妹秋雲卻也對良芳心暗許，因此雲恨霞奪之所愛，並於爭吵中推門壓著霞之手指，導致霞心病發作。豪聞霞只有半年壽命，將秘密告知妻子。霞與輝感情日深，互許愛意。霞無意間獲訊自己身患絕症，望臨終前與雲和好，並告知其深愛輝，姐妹情油然重生。為免輝日後哀痛，霞故意與良親熱，輝果誤霞變心，辭職回國。雲亦誤會倆人之關係，氣憤返家，無意中發現霞之日記，始知事情真相。聖誕假期，霞舉家出國旅行，步出機場，見輝迎面而來。在歡樂聲中，霞含笑倒逝輝懷中。

For many years, Mr. Lee has been keeping a secret from his wife and two daughters that his elder daughter,Chelsia, is having some serious heart disease. Only his good friend, Dr. Fong, who made the diagnosis knows about it. Chelsia meets Ma, an overseas Chinese, at her secondary school graduation ball and gradually they fall in love with each other. Doctor Ma's son Chileung, who grows up with Lee's daughters, is fond of Chelsia while the younger daughter Chelwin loves him. However, neither of their affection is returned. Thus Chelwin hates Chelsia and accidentally hurts Chelsia's fingers, leading to Chelsia's faint. Knowing that Chelsia only has six months to live, Mr. Lee imparts the secret to his wife, but still not the daughters. However, Chelsia gets it by chance. In order to reconcile with Chelwin, Chelsia declares she loves Ma, but not Chileung.Chelsia pretends to have fun with Chileung, and finally achieves her goal at Ma's misunderstanding and quits his job, returning to Korea. Chelwin also misunderstands her sister but finds out the truth through Chelsia's diary later. The whole family travels abroad during Christmas holiday. When they step out of the airport, they see Ma right there waiting for them. Finally, Chelsia passes away happily right in Ma's arms.
