Zoe Adler (Robin Tunney, Vertical Limit) is a twenty-something love starved dotcom'er who is running away from herself and from reality. She compulsively avoids being home alone and spends countless hours listening to KXCH "Cherish" radio and pop songs of 1970's and 80's. When she manages a cocktail with the object of her latest romantic obsession, she ends up driving a hijacked car that mows down a policeman. For this, she is unfairly incarcerated in the electronic bracelet program and is trapped in her apartment for two years. With only the nerdy bracelet officer, Daly (Tim Blake Nelson, Thin Red Line), to provide uneasy company, Zoe finds a new meaning of love and self worth.
