a great try

the film was good but once romance started entering the scene it became quite boring, i think the director couldn't decide if he wanted a drama romance or a comedy romance. also the appearence of athena chu and ning jing was very useless, ning jing didn't stand out at all since she appeared for a total of 3 mins in the whole film, and athena's character was confusing. wasted talent. best part of the film was the brother sister combination of tony and vicky. wished it was based on their brother sister relationship not romance. |

Excellent Film
| An excellent movie in terms of the plot, setting, cast, costumes and the MUSIC. Unforgettable scenes including singing and dancing performance by Faye and Tony in the village; the peach blossoms; the lake at the small town; trap in the sandunes and many more. A film that express warmly the meaning of "Love will find a way". |

EXCELLENT
| I really enjoyed this movie. Ive always liked Tony leung so I decided to watch it but I expected it to be boring since it is based on the past but it is great! it is a brilliant comedy! |

great
| I rate this as fun and as silly and as hilariously entertaining as "The Eagles Shooting Heroes", also produced by Wong Kar Wai and directed by Jeffery Lau. Watch both back to back for a night of laughs. |

Very good
| I like this movie. It is better than what I expected. The plot is funny and the actors are all very good. I think Faye's acting has improved a lot. Do give this movie a try. It's worth it. |

Not bad
| I thought this movie was okay. There are some funny moments spread throughout, but the way the story unfolded itself was kind of a mess. The cast was good and I especially liked Tony and his acting. Also good job to Mei Ah for a nice quality DVD, normally I don't trust them but they did a nice job this time. If you're looking for something more entertaining try Fat Choi Spirit, I enjoyed that more. |

somewhat good
| i was pretty disappointed at the beginning of the movie.. being that there's mostly just "humor" but around the second half it started to get good.. and the end was excellent. it would have been better if they focused on the plot rather than trying to fit in so many jokes. |
