Chinese Paladin 3 is so much much much better than Chinese Paladin 1. Hu Ge and Yang Mi really made a great chemistry. Great plots and excellent casts. Highly recommend!!!

This version is dual audio with Cantonese and Mandarin and English subtitles. The Cantonese dub is great. The English subtitles however are very questionable and are really meant to supplement somebody that understands some of the spoken dialogue already. If you want better English subtitles, I recommend you search the internet for the fan subbed versions which are far superior. The special effects are not Hollywood quality, but once you get past that it has its own charm. The idea of reincarnation and multiple lives is a little confusing but treat this story as a fairy tale. The leading men do a stand up job and you'll have a new appreciation for the Chinese peace sign of 2 fingers once the series is over. Yang Mi is mischievously cute and Tiffany Tang is breathtakingly beautiful. The story starts out very light hearted but there are elements to the ending that you will find bittersweet.

This series made me laugh out loud and emotional at times. I love how this series is filled with interests I enjoy watching. Legends, Gods, Fairies, Demons, Ghost, Heroes, Taoist, lovely ladies ^_^, A fantasy RPG brought to life!! Great sound track also.

Only thing that confused me a little was how this is suppose to be a prequel. There is one scene where this character appears briefly to return something. I recognized his name when they introduced him, but which makes it a tad confusing because this is suppose to be a prequel. Either that they just did it on purpose to show some relationship between the series.

Anyways if you're full of imagination, this is definitely for you!

 the format is wrong Customer Review Rated Bad 2 - 2 out of 10
bought the dvds and the format isn't widescreen... and it isn't fullscreen. it's fullscreen with letterbox attached. the quality of a fansub is higher then this. i wouldn't mind lower quality but i can't stand it when you make a show fullscreen give it letterbox at the bottom and put the subtitles in it. other then that the show is great but seriously do a better job when your making people pay for it.

I love this series so much, but you guys don't have it in cantonese
I know there is a cantonese version in Malaysia, can you get it from them please. They don't do oversea shipping........

The editorial description gives an explanation for your confusion. "Chinese Paladin III is based on the third game in the series - hence the title - but in terms of timeline, it is actually a prequel set 50 years prior to the events of the first drama." I believe the characters in CP2 are the kids of the characters in CP1.

Don't worry about this one not being in Cantonese or without English subs. Thing with Tai Seng that I notice and this is from buying multiple series from this company through YesAsia is that they will first come out with the Mandarin version then the Canto/Mando with Eng subs. So that is what I'm waiting for. But this is weird for me to understand because if this is Chinese Paladin III what happened to Chinese Paladin II????

There should be english sub for this movie. If i does, i would totally buy it now cus the price is just a great deal now, but then i don't want to buy it without english sub, i wouldn't know what their saying.

I have waited for this new series of Chinese Paladin to come out for a long time and now the wait is finally over. A great discount price for pre-order. It is definitely worth watching if you loved the first show.

I have the previous Chinese Palladiun series and it is in Cantonese. It is a pity that this one is in Mandarin as I will definitely buy it if it is in Cantonese.
