The albums opening track 'Merry Go Round' works well, because it is catchy and upbeat. The lyrics describe YUI's insecurities, and it is probably my favorite new track.
My biggest complaint is simply that I found a small percent of the songs quite bland ('I Can't Say'), and the lack of some of YUI's really, really awesome b-sides.
Like I said before, my favorite new track was 'Merry Go Round' and my favorite singles were 'Feel My Soul' and 'Tomorrow's Way'.
On a whole, I enjoyed most of the album, and even the songs that I didn't like to begin with grew on me (i.e. 'Blue Wind'). 'FROM ME TO YOU' is a really refreshing debut, and as the title suggests, YUI's music is very personal.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)
