　　風流瀟洒的楚留香（鄭少秋），以盜寶絕技聞名天下，但他盜寶只為救難濟貧，故被尊稱為「盜師」。香武功蓋世，卻從不殺人。他縱橫四海，總有如花似玉的紅顏知己相伴左右，其中清麗脫俗的蓉蓉（趙雅芝）最為香憐愛。蓉蓉對香痴心一片，惜香一直只視她為妹妹，令她苦惱不已。

　　香追查五大武林高手離奇被殺的真相期間，結識了敢愛敢恨的俠女沈慧珊（汪明荃），被其獨特的氣質所吸引，初動真情。兩人出生入死，感情日益深厚。惜一次珊為救香而喪命，香痛失摯愛，萬念俱灰。

　　此際香之頭號敵人妙僧無花（關聰）趁機陷害香，先利用珊之妹慧琳（韓馬利）借刀殺人，事敗後又操縱香之師兄盜仙（陳鴻烈），逼他與香決一死戰，最後更挑釁武林各派聯手對付香。香忍無可忍，決定大開殺戒……

註：由於母帶已製作經年，故在製作VCD的過程中，必須進行調色、重新配樂及剪輯等後期工作。但所有後期工作均在有必要的情況下進行，並以不影響劇情為原則。

All time best version of Chor Lau Heung Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
How can anyone beat Adam Cheng as Chor Lau Heung? He seems to have just walked out of Gu Long's book. If you have not seen this show, you are missing out big time. I love Richard Ng as Wu Tit Fa. His conversaions with Chor are hilarious. He is so cute when he is with Go A Lam. The girls are so pretty in the show and the other supporting actors/actresses are great. It is definitely a classis.

Excellent, though not the un-cut version Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
This is certainly a very good TV series. Everything is great for this release of VCDs, except that several original threads of themes were cut out from these 3 VCD sets. Wish TVB can release the uncut/complete version in the future. Why not just put on DVDs with the original aired episodes with begining and ending songs/credits as they were? If one didn't read the novel or watched it before, some parts of the scenes could be very confusing. And it is a great pity to leave out these cuts since this is a well-produced series.

Nevertheless, this is a very good VCD sets and TV series.
