June 26, 2006 this lady's 40th ~another hit~Ayu's 40th single release is one of the best I've seen from her as far as her "commemorative" releases go. In my opinion is way better than A, H and & COMBINED and here is why:
01) BLUE BIRD~ is a sweet poppy track that takes you to the dreamworld of Dubai (where the PV was shot). While listening to this song, I can't help but imagine myself on the beach with my friends having a good time just being silly. This image, Ayu reveals in the PV for it and shows us a side of her we rarely see of her: her natural state.
02) Beautiful Fighters~ it's cutesy depending on what kind of person you are and the walk of life your coming from. In my own eyes, life is a little hard as far as finding the will to keep going. Fortunately, Ayu knows how this feels and she writes a song about it for people like us. In this song, she encourages us to keep on going...
03) ladies night +another night+~ Like someone said before, it's an alternative version of the original. I'm not too big of a fan of remixes but LNAN is different. Instead of a poppy-feel the original had; this song has a rock feel to it: Satisfying those critical Ayu-fans who've been *sniffling* for an Ayu-rock song.
04) BLUE BIRD +harderground remix+~is very pretty. It doesn't give me the same feeling as the original track but it does have a good ring to it. If you're a fan of Ayuremixes you won't be dissappointed.
05) THE POSTER...it's simply beautiful. I can see why she chose only similar poses for the single covers because you just can't get enough of this picture. It's her best since...CAROLS.
07) I'd like to say that Ayu is the FIRST (that I know of) to release a single in three different ways; then add something else like a poster to top it all off. I think it takes a true artist to pull something off like this and it will probably become the next fad in single releases.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Dong Bang Shin Ki - Heart Mind And Soul
April 9, 2006 AN AMAZING DEBUT ALBUMI really liked this album...I mean like more than I thought I would. From the first to the last track before all the acapella stuff I loved it. The only thing that keeps me from loving this album is the acapella's...I like them but they really aren't worth the waste of space to me. But it is nice that they are trying to tell us that they can truly sing better than Nsync & all those other boybands from 2000.
But yeah, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this album TO ANY J-pop fan!
BTW> I love Micky, Hero & MAXDid you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

(17)Our Price: US$23.25Usually ships within 7 daysMarch 9, 2006 She's BAAAAAAAAAAACK!Number 1 again; alright now Ayu keep on giving those other pop-princesses a run for their money!
Startin' is probably one of Ayu's most addictive tunes yet. It has this poppy-western feel to it and I love it!!! The PV for it is amazing to me; especially the butterfly glasses. Only a lady with class and an individual style can make those sunglasses look so freaking amazing.
Born To Be is the Japanese-Olympics theme, it's okay at first but the more you listen to it the more you'll love it. The PV I haven't seen yet but I have seen screenshots of it and it looks pretty good.
Teens----ehh, I haven't listened to the acoustic version; but I LOVED the version that's on the Lif-e-motions tribute album. It reminds me of a depressing version of fairyland. (I know it's weird sounding but I like that song!)
I'm gonna buy the overseas version soon...cuz I can't afford the Japanese version. LOL, so if you can afford it; buy this single & you won't be dissapointed. If you can't just wait for the OS to come.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

November 25, 2005 Think About the Next Release, OK?BoA really needs to think about her next release instead of putting out album filler material as singles. -_-; I don't even really listen to BoA anymore and yet this HORRIBLE song keeps on following me. The bottom line is: THIS SONG IS AVEX's CORPORATE CRAP...it's not any good at all. I think they just released this song to keep her in competition with Ayu, Mika, Hikki and the newest star Youhna (sp?). The only thing is, none of those women are releasing crapy singles that are meant to be album filler. If you have the money and you want a single/album: Go for their newest releases and forget about this. If you don't, you'll regret giving BoA a second chance. Did you find this review helpful? September 10, 2005 Very different...but a good different! ^^Ayumi's 37th single has got to be one of her best as far as her usual ballads go. "HEAVEN" is way better than "forgiveness" and gives you a chill down your spine with her emotional vocals and heartfelt words. This is song if more of a power ballad than "No Way to Say" if you ask me.
"WILL" is really different. It's got an old-school japanese music feel but with a little new century kind of flare. I'm not really shure whether of not I can call this a ballad or just a regular song...either way it's great. All I know is, I can't wait to finally hear alterna's acoustic orchestra version! If you normally love Ayu's ballads, BUY THIS SINGLE today!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)
