上海體育館游泳賽區，女子花樣游泳賽正在進行，身為教練的林婷突然接到新婚丈夫方信因車禍而急救的電話，為了不影響比賽而強忍悲痛，不敢告訴身為花遊隊主力隊員的方信的女兒方曉軒。後來方信搶救無效死亡，造成方曉軒對“主教練”和“繼母”雙重身份的林婷產生了怨恨。
曉軒憤而離家出走，遇到了目睹方信車禍事件的高楚，高楚對這個失去雙親的“孤女”由憐生愛。體院新配一個新教練耿平給林婷，婷的態度冷淡，隊員葉佳對他暗生情愫，可耿平喜歡的卻是林婷……
該劇是一部反映花樣游泳隊員成長和情感歷程的“運動勵志劇”，講述了一群不同背景的女孩在教練的帶領下戰勝自我，在泳池與人生中取得不同收穫的曲折故事。

Great story
| I watched this series in three days, and it is such a great story. All the actors and actresses are doing so well and we learn a lot about this kind of sport. |
