幼い頃から孤児院で育ったジョンス(シン・ドンウク)は優秀な成績だったにもかかわらず、大学進学をあきらめ、離島で診療所の手伝いをしながら生活していた。ある日、大病院の院長の娘ジョンウォン(ハン・ジヘ)が島を訪れる。父の経営する病院で広報を担当している彼女は、エリート外科医のドホン(キム・ジョンヒョン)との仲も順調で、何不自由ない生活を送っていたが、お金持ちしか治療しない病院の方針に疑問を覚え、庶民に根付いた医療を行っている離島を訪れたのだ。しかし、その日たまたま診療所の所長が留守にしており、島民の手当てをしているジョンスを医者と勘違いしてしまう。そして、台風のために孤島となってしまった状況で、ジョンウォンは急性虫垂炎で倒れ、生死の境をさ迷うことに。無免許ながらジョンウォンの手術を決意をするジョンス。一方、本島ではジョンスの行方不明だった父親が、ジョンウォンの父の病院に運ばれていた。手術の成功でジョンスを信頼し始めたジョンウォンと、無免許医であることを言い出せなくなってしまったジョンスは、お互い意識しながらも、取り返しのつかない運命の波にのまれていく…。 ■封入特典：ポストカード
