Deen returns with their first single of 2010, ahead of their 11th original full-length album. Labeled by the band as "resort music", Coconuts appropriately features a sampling of The Beach Boys' Kokomo, and it's a relaxing mid-tempo rock song perfect for a day in the sun. The single also includes the B-side tracks oh Darlin'~KAI~ and a cover of Matsutoya Yumi's Hello, my friend. As requested by fans after it was played on the band's radio program, the "pm remix" of the band's 2003 single Taiyou to Hanabira is also included as a bonus track.

First Press Edition comes with a bonus DVD with footage from the band's collaboration concert with Paris Match and their countdown concert at Tokyo's Kouseinenkin Kaikan.
