YesAsia Editorial Description
Get caught up in Coded Arms, a unique first-person shooter for the PSP! Gamers take on the role of a hacker faced with a rogue virtual reality program. The program was created for training soldiers, but has since developed on its own into a powerful virtual world. Bots, bugs, and simulated alien soldiers run rampant in the virtual world, but so do plenty of powerups and weapons, which should give the player an advantage over the virtual bad guys! Coded Arms promises blistering FPS-action on the PSP, as well as a stylishly realized virtual world unlike the usual grim-and-gritty chaos of the Doom and Half-Life franchises. Replay value is high: besides the story mode, the game includes a random map generator for an endless variety of virtual bug hunting! Coded Arms even features a wireless multiplayer mode, so PSP owners can jack in and battle their buddies to a virtual end!

This customer review refers to CODED ARMS (Japan Version)
| Quite good for the 1st FPS game for PSP. I have played the game on a US PSP game console and it works. That means no region lock for PSP games. When the game started, it was in English language. There is also in Japanese language option. The game is quite simple to get into, but get ready to be surprise. Great graphics with its tiny details. The controls will be a bit of a lay-off. It took me about an hour for me to get use to the controls. Luckily the controls can be customized. The game will get tougher as you get furthur in the game. Try not to playing in a moving vehicle, or you will get nausea very quickly. To clear a level will take you about 10 to 15 minutes. A good game for those who like a quick action on the move. d@@b |
