80~90년대 중흥을 이루었던 감성 싱어 송 라이터의 부활
'커피소년' 유재하의 감성을 이어받다.
1987년 3월 이촌동 서울 스튜디오에서 800만원의 제작비로 완성된 한 이름 모를 신인가수의 음반은 한국 역사상 가장 위대한 음반이 된다. 바로 고 유재하의 단 하나의 앨범, '사랑하기 때문에'이다. 이 앨범은 사랑하는 여인에게 바치는 노래였고 한사람을 위한 고백이었다. 자신의 음악이라는 세상안에서 그는 시인 이었고 로맨티스트였고 천재적 음악성이 돋보이는 음악가였다.
그는 한국적 팝발라드의 창시자이기 이전에 그는 진정한 의미의 싱어 송 라이터였다. 단순히 곡을 쓰고 편곡하고 노래하는 것 뿐만 아니라, 자신의 인생을 노래하고. 진실함을 추구하고. 진짜 사랑을 노래했기에 수많은 열매들이 맺어지지 않았을까?

If I would be honest,I got to know Coffee boy because of Dara from 2ne1,they used his song as BGM for Dara at SH,I fell inlove with the song...So I made few searches about this artist,and oh boy...thank God I did...His songs are really nice and his voice is soothing...It is a feel good type of songs.And when your simply chillin' ,drivin' or whatever,this one is really a must have.The packaging is simple but still it is unique,artsy and posh. And lastly...it is worth every penny I spent.:D |

Just got this in the mail today along with some other things. The shipping was so fast i was suprised! I was looking to buy an Indie album and when I came across this, I really liked the picture and thought it was cool so I decided to add this to my cart just for the heck of it, lol. I am so glad I got this because the music is just truly beautiful! I really hate to compare but i couldn't help noticing that his voice is somewhat similar to SHINee's Onew's but both voices are unique and lovely in their own way. This album can seriously put me to sleep within minutes. In a good way, of course :) His voice is just so soothing and warm that when I listen to it, I can just close my eyes and drift away to dreamland. So so beautiful! And the artwork is really nice too. I just love the design of everything! The cd has a picture of a plain coffee cup on it. It's simple yet nice. I don't really know how to explain what the album looks like. I guess it's just like a normal and thin album. When you open it all the way cd is on the right and the lyrics are written on the flaps inside. It's written in a pretty Korean font with a couple of pictures. It is actually really good quality and overall the album is really nice and the songs are wonderful. Definitely worth buying. I also like how since his name is coffee boy, the album is called 1st Music Roasting instead of Volume 1 or something like that. I an planning on buying his 2nd Music Roasting soon! :) |
