Female singer Cally Kwong is one of the representative Hong Kong music stars of the 80s. Kwong had to start earning money at a relatively young age, since her mother passed away when she was just 14 years old. She launched her career as a singer after coming in first runner-up at the 1982 Miss Hong Kong contest. In addition to her professional career, she has also become well known as a promoter of Buddhism and animal rights activist. Her hits "Won't Ever Forget" (Track 11) and "Stay A While Longer" (Track 4) and her duet "After The Separation" (Track 12) with Alan Tam can be found on this Color Collection - Cally Kwong compilation among other treats.
