Taiwan pop group COLOR are formed by newcomers Wang Wei Hao (vocalist) and Chen Yan Wei (guitarist). They famously composed and performed "Rogue Justice", the theme song to the highly rated PTS police idol drama Black & White. Prior to the release of this album, the talented songwriting duo embarked on a 100-show street-tour across different parts of Taiwan, in just 100 days! The feat propelled their popularity, earned them appearances in numerous TV programs, and soon their video clips became highly requested on YouTube. Now formally making their debut with this album, COLOR brand their music as "playful rock", and the album contains their first single "Courageous Flying Elephant", and "Rogue Justice" in a different version than that on the original soundtrack.

You gotta listen to them! So good!!

CoLoR's album here is seriously good. I knew about them when accidentally stumbled to one of their live street performances when I was studying abroad in Taiwan, and I was just blown away by how good their music were (haha, not to mention they really have great stage presence ^_^). So far, I have been listening to this album over 10 times, I like every track. I agree with the description of "playful rock" because they're happy and light hearted but sounds really cool at the same time. ^_^ Track 1, 5, 8, 10 are the playful rocks Track 2, and 3 are the 'cool' tracks. haha, I'm not sure how to track. haha, that's just the feeling I get when i listen to them while I drive. Slow tracks are 4, 6, 7, 9. Slow or fast, the songs they wrote were all just super-duper good, and the duo sings well too. ^_^ HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Buy it buy it! Support CoLoR! ^_^ |
