Photographer/filmmaker Yon Fan (Bishonen, Peony Pavilion) trains his celebrated eye on five disparate individuals in his controversial erotic drama Colour Blossoms. One day, property agent Meili (Teresa Cheung) has two strange encounters; Madam Umeki (Matsuzaka eiko), a mysterious Japanese high society lady who asks her to lease out a luxurious abandoned apartment on her behalf. On this fateful day, she also discovers the man of her dreams, policeman 4708 (Carl Ng). While Meili takes potential tenants to the apartment, she meets a young photographer, Kim (Sho). Whom she cannot help but fall in love with. Later, Meili is astonished to discover Kim was the ex-lover of the young Madam Umeki (Harisu). The complex relationship between the color blossoms develops to be even more intriguing....

Creative and pretty, or just weird and gross??

I viewed this film cause i had to do a review on it and i don't really know what to say about this one. Let's just say it's VERY unique. The characters are very colorful and you can soon tell how each personality is. The weird part about this movie is that it's made in China yet some of them speak in english. Lol, i don't know why cause it's really awkward for the movie and characters. The movie starts off very slow and is good from the start but then towards the end you get lost and you'll be saying what the heck? It has an erotic theme to it which the director meant for it to be good but i didn't really like it. There is also some lesbian and gay issues between the characters which is a little to much for me. I don't know, the director meant for this one to be a unique film, but what turned out to be a very weird and questionable one. I give it 1 star, because at least the film maker tired to make a film. |

cheap knowckoff producer pretending to be an auteu
| I was simply stunned by the emptiness of pretension that the director makes. It is such a cheap knock-off version of Wong Kar-wai without any substance or aesthetics. Cheap knockoff actors without character, and cheap "borrowings" in terms of music, images, and sounds, of tons of other movies I have seen. |

ARTFUL VIVA-EROTICA
| Hmmm... A most scintillating, titillator-tease of artful erotica. LOVE & ADORE the dresses, esp. those of/worn by the JAP-Actress, KEIKO, & most of all most certianly got me most totally interested in who all the actors are, ESP. CARL NG, & All their resp. B/G'S, IE. Backgrounds, & also in WHO [IS] THE DIR.? & All His other works/films; Not to mention HARISU - so VERY AMAZING, How BEAUTIFUL & LOVELY & GLAM she is, can EVEN give the ULTRA-Glam & gorgeous JAP-Actress, KEIKO as well as the slutty TERESA-CHEUNG, A BIG Run for their $ in the Beauty & glamour stakes, so any1 with any more B/G-INFO on the actors/DIR. - ESP. CARL NG, Pls put here in theis review-board. Also, love the style of film-making-DIR. SUCH A GLAM mood & feel! Not to mention glossy, arty, artsy, artful outlook...! |

As People Said. Either Love it Or Hate It
| Maybe it just me but i love complex movies. Movies that make you think and have to watch it again. It not a movie for the general public. It definately not for people that are conservative views. But I love the costumes, I actually got the movie plot and the soundtrack. stunning. Very interest cast as well. If love artistry then get this movie. |
