I was simply stunned by the emptiness of pretension that the director makes. It is such a cheap knock-off version of Wong Kar-wai without any substance or aesthetics. Cheap knockoff actors without character, and cheap "borrowings" in terms of music, images, and sounds, of tons of other movies I have seen.

Hmmm... A most scintillating, titillator-tease of artful erotica. LOVE & ADORE the dresses, esp. those of/worn by the JAP-Actress, KEIKO, & most of all most certianly got me most totally interested in who all the actors are, ESP. CARL NG, & All their resp. B/G'S, IE. Backgrounds, & also in WHO [IS] THE DIR.? & All His other works/films; Not to mention HARISU - so VERY AMAZING, How BEAUTIFUL & LOVELY & GLAM she is, can EVEN give the ULTRA-Glam & gorgeous JAP-Actress, KEIKO as well as the slutty TERESA-CHEUNG, A BIG Run for their $ in the Beauty & glamour stakes, so any1 with any more B/G-INFO on the actors/DIR. - ESP. CARL NG, Pls put here in theis review-board. Also, love the style of film-making-DIR. SUCH A GLAM mood & feel! Not to mention glossy, arty, artsy, artful outlook...!

As People Said. Either Love it Or Hate It Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
Maybe it just me but i love complex movies. Movies that make you think and have to watch it again. It not a movie for the general public. It definately not for people that are conservative views. But I love the costumes, I actually got the movie plot and the soundtrack. stunning. Very interest cast as well. If love artistry then get this movie.

This film tried so hard to be artsy and it ended up being pretty pretentious. The SM scenes were just a laugh and you can actually tell the actor/actresses are quite uncomfortable when acting them. The plot and characters are actually quite interesting and have a lot of potential. But the director just didn't deliver it right.

Love, Like, Or Hate It Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
This film is probably one of the most talked about this year with Teresa Cheung scoring a nomination at this year's Hong Kong Film Awards as Best Newcomer. Plus being screened at this year's Berlin International Film Festival. The film does borders on being pornographic and there's no doubt this film has raised some eyebrows among critics and audiences alike. To me, the film score highly on visual presentation. Rich in colour, and settings plays a hugh role in defining the characters' lifestyles. The actresses' costumes are are just as fascinating to look at. Traditional cheong sam by the leading ladies and what about Matsuzaka Keiko's outfit in one scene...... a full-on drama queen! Character development is pretty good too, but as for the screenplay played out on screen, it was slightly too artistic for me to appreciate it fully. Anyway, there will be people who will love this film, like it or hate it. Yonfan has created some films like this that may need future viewings for audiences to understand what each of his films are about. Films that get you talking ...... films that sets out discussions long after you viewed it (once or numerous times), not just like some of run-off-the-mill films. 8/10 from me.

Actresses in this film are all very pretentious. The only thing that makes this movie worthwhile watching is Sho. He looks gorgeous in the film.

This movie wasn't as bad as what other people have told me. At least it had a story line to it and it made scene to me. IT was a good movie, had nice music and nice actors/actresses in it.
