Anna Jo (Han Ye Seul of Forbidden Love) might look like a million dollars, but she's nearly unbearable: she never smiles, treats everyone but her cat Princess like a dog, and has the very annoying and expensive tendency of wanting to change every single piece of furniture she sees. Enter Jang Cheol Su (Oh Ji Ho of Super Rookie), the owner of a very small construction company in the suburbs. He treats every bill like treasure, his house looks like the aftermath of an armed robbery, and his idea of fashion is wearing the local soccer team's jersey. When these two get together, they make a truly Fantastic Couple.
Based on the 1987 Hollywood film Overboard starring Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, Fantastic Couple became one of the most popular Korean dramas of 2006 simply for being outrageously funny. Showing once again their comic talent, the Hong sisters (writers of Sassy Girl Chunhyang and My Girl) mix sitcom tropes with interesting characters and even a little touch of drama to create arguably their best work to date. The biggest surprise is perhaps Han Ye Seul, who adapts to the two completely different sides of her role with great energy and spunk.

FUN TO WATCH!

I first refused to watch because Han Ye Seul was such a 'B' in the first episode. My friend started watching and convinced me to get back to it (around ep #4). So glad I watched...also bought it. Han Ye Seul ended up being one of my favorite actresses because of her role in this. And Oh Ji Ho... OMG he must be the most beautiful man on earth!! I made my granddaughter watch it. She got a crush on Oh Ji Ho (until she saw Gong Yoo in Coffee Prince, then it was goodbye Oh Ji Who?) LOL Yes, this is loosely based on Overboard (Goldie Hawn/Kurt Russell) but Couple or Trouble is funnier funnier funnier! |

| This drama was highly recommended by a friend. I've seen the first episode and I'd like to see the rest. However, I want to know if the English subtitle of this Edition is any good. not bad at all
| It looks like one of Goldie Hawn's old movie, title of which I have forgotten. However, it is different as it went on. Very very silly to begin with but it will get better and better as it goes along. Everyone is fine except I am not convinced with the girl who has mental disabilities. The ending is very satisfactory too. A light hearted comedy you will find enjoyable. |
