Different but the Same
| Gackt usually has the instrumentals (Ares, 4th, Noah) that show off his skill, but that's missing in this album, but the songs in general made up for everything. Dybbuk is just an example of how Gackt always has a unique touch in all his albums. So although this album is different without the instrumental, it still the same Gackt uniqueness that keeps me listening to him after all this time. |

Best album since MARS~
| Gackt's MARS is one of my all time favorite album and Rebirth and Moon are good but they couldn't live up to MARS, so imagine my suprise when this one came along. Crescent is MARS's complimentary and equally as good although slower but still intense and lovely. If you were a bit dissapointed with Rebirth and Moon, give this one a try. It's very good. |

Good job
| This album was extremely good, but too be honest, I had expected it to be slightly better. But other than that, it was awesome. When i heard that the first song "Dybbuk" had some rappings, I laughed to myself. Gackt and rap. They don't mix. However, to my surprise I found myself liking it. It's like rap with a rock sound it and it fits well into this album. Some of the best songs are mind forest, Lust for blood, Last Song. And let's not forget the duet with HYDE, "orenji no taiyo", while long, is simple wonderful. Do not miss if a fan of Gackt. It is highly recommended album. |

A Perfect Crescent
| I highly recommend Gackt's latest album Crescent to any one that is a fan of Gackt. In my personal opinion this is his best album yet. All of the songs are pure masterpieces and the majority are beautiful with some extremely intense songs as well. This album is a must have for any Gackt fan whether you like the sweet, sentimental Gackt or the dark, mysterious Gackt. There are both here and at points even both. This is a must have album. Great if you are a new fan and especially if you're a Dear. |

Crescent and Rebirth
|
Actually I think that tis album will be easily accepted by non Gackt's fans. I myself really like this album and think it my favourite cd of Gackt.'Last song' is a very sad and pretty ballade while 'birdcage' is amazing for its contrast.I think it's good and easily accepted. The second best one is 'Rebirth' but it is too special that not all people can accept it.'Rebirth' is also amazing, full of ideas such as death,exile,loneliness... Both are good! |

A beautiful finish for 'Moon Project'
| Gackt's beautiful finale to Moon Project, Crescent, blew me away. My expectations for Crescent were less than spectacular, due to 'Last Song's over-produced flop. What I discovered was a beautiful CD drawing upon Gackt's beautiful voice and a j-rock sound like he has never produced. This album introduces a much welcomed metal sound for Gackt. The hard rock stylings of 'mind forest' 'Lust for Blood' and 'White Eyes' show a style never attempted by Gackt before. But this album also has beautiful ballad songs (birdcage, Tsuki no Uta, Hoshi no Suna) and the transition between the two moods was flawless. What I found most gorgeous about this album was the first song, Dybbuk. It sums up the album in a beautiful and original piece. It features hard-rcok elements (rapping) and Gackt's vocals, which allude to the ballad songs. Beautiful. |
