Prolific filmmaker Wong Jing writes, produces and directs Crocodile Hunter, a buddy cop film starring Andy Lau and Alex Man. Happy Chiu (Andy Lau) is a CID officer teamed up with Chuan (Alex Man), a cocky womanizer who annoys Chiu to no end. The two are embroiled in a case involving a group of criminals, and enlist the help of Bitch Ying (the hilarious Sandra Ng), an informant who may have some dish on what the evil gang intends to do. Gunplay and energetic martial arts action ensues, as the two rogue cops try to prevent the rape of an actress, stop the gang from stealing a priceless antique, uncover a white-collar scam, reunite Ying with her husband, and - after they're framed by the bad guys - clear their names! It may sound like a tough job, but no job is too tough for the cops of Crocodile Hunter! Andy Lau and Alex Man make an entertaining cop team, and the action sequences are as exciting as you'd expect from an early-nineties Hong Kong film.
