This is a knit and crochet book of sweaters, vests, hats and scarves. The charts are easy to read so that you do not need to know Japanese in order to make the patterns. A few of the patterns use both knit and crochet.

This is a knit and crochet book for sweaters and vests. Some of the patterns use both technics. The patterns are well charted so you don't need to know Japanese in order to make them. I have found around three patterns that I'd like to make in the whole book, thus the lower score.

This book has both knitting and crochet patterns with easy to follow charts. There are hats, sweaters, vests and coats. I think there are more knitting patterns than crochet. A couple of knit patterns have crochet trim.

I want to crochet every single pattern in this book. The charts are larger some pull out. It's a lot easier to tell what yarn they used on their yarn guide. The pictures even tell you where you can make adjustments to the patterns. Most of the patterns are varied for you. The instructions for each symbol are clearly illustrated in the back of the book. This is one of my favorites!!!

I was even able to understand that when the graph is not next to the picture that it's on the page number stated. Some patterns are the same but most are uniquely different . Beautiful lacy crocheted sweaters, tops and accessories. There is even a couple Mommie & Me patterns. A lot of the patterns even teens would enjoy. Easy to follow charts.

All of the beautiful sweaters & vests in the book are crocheted. This was my first Japanese pattern book. I started with the sweater with the large doily on the back (#12). I immediately made the doily but it took me awhile to figure out that the pattern did include the front of the sweater afterall. The fourth pattern piece included the front sleeve because it's like a shawl with sleeves type of sweater. I highly recommend this book.

This book is like an annual it's so big. Beautiful sweaters, vests, & assessories. Well worth getting. Just remember the book opens backwards so the pattern pieces do too.
