This has to be the best CD (Internationally) of th Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
!WOW! !WOW! !WOW!
Crystal Style has to be the best Album of the year, Internationally Ranking. Not only does the album over shoot many other J-pop albums(besides Utada's, They are equal)It redifines music on an International basis.
I listen to all types of music, My ears have been everywhere from 50 cent to Utada and I have got to say that Crystal style is a truly extraordinary album. Crystal kay is truly a respectable artist. Her album beats any american music I can think of. Americans should hear this to whitness what "real music" and "real hip-hop and R&B" is. I have to say that I thought music could not get any better than her fourth Album "4 Real" but I must say Crystal kay has proved me wrong.

All of the songs are good to me. Starting the album off with the Rock/R&B single "Bye My Darling" to the smooth and original "Make you mine" to the beautiful melodies of "Flowers"and "Magic" and the upbeat hip-hoppy "we Gonna Boggie". The R&B inspired "MY Everything" the Pop/R&B "Love it Take it" the beautifully put together "Kiss" and the other Beautiful Tracks. Overall the Album is Really good, and I believe there is a song for everyone on it, Even those of you who don't speak Japanese. So I'm telling you GET IT! It is probably the best Music CD you will Spend your money on in a LOOOONG TIME!

Great album! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Crystal Kay's album is spectacular! It has just enough R&B to keep you calm and mellow but enough hip hop to keep you dancing. Her songs do not have a generic sound and they really show how she's grown as a singer. I highly recommend this album.

Best Thing She's Done Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Completely hooked on the melody of 'Bye My Darling!' I had renewed hope that CK hadn't gone stale after her last few mediocre releases.
Gladly this album, for me, hit the mark as possibly her best production to date, certainly the greatest thing she's done since 'Almost 17'. This album is even more 'American' inspired than its predecessors, although CK has always been of a mostly Western style, this album is certainly one that even your friends who don't like Jpop will succumb to loving. From the Twista inspired 'we gonna Boogie' to 70s influenced 'Baby Cop' to rocked out 'LOVE it TAKE' CK has showcased her talents to a high potential. One of the hottest tracks on the album 'My Everything'- a ballad - shows CK's ability to produce smooth soul sounds along with her usual pop R&B style. Certainly her most experimental album style wise. All in all coming together quite nicely to create something she should be proud of. I fully recommend this to any R&B fan.

C-Kay can do better Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
Crystal Kay's 'Crystal Style' CD isn't as bright in comparision to her past CDs 'Natural' 'CK5' 'Almost Seventeen' and 'C.L.L.'. There aren't as many good songs on this CD. On her other CDs, I'd at least have 10 favorite songs out of 12, but on this... The CD starts with 'Bye My Darlin' which is a very nice song, soundin' rockish then transforming into R&B in the chorus. But the album goes downward with its next song 'Make you Mine', the english version isn't all that either. Something about the wannabe Arabian like music. 'Bet You Don't Know' is a somewhat dancy like song that you might hear MOVE sing. I didn't like it either. Then the album comes back good with her 2nd single 'Kiss' which is a very beautiful song. 'Tears' is an okay slow song. 'Love it take it' isn't much to talk about. '& Brand New' is mediocre. 'Flowers ~Gendai Every Part~'is a nice mid tempo song but after listening to it for a while it becomes played out. 'Magic' brightened up the CD again, only to fall once again with 'We Gonna Boogie'. 'Baby Cop' would have been a pretty okay song if it wasn't for Mummy-D's horrible rapping. 'My Everything' is by far (besides 'Kiss' and 'Bye My Darlin') the best song on this album. Kuri's vocals are right on point and it's a really beautiful song. "Home Girls" almost reminds me of 'Girls Night', not so from the music, just from the subject matter. In short, only buy this is you're a hardcore C-kay fan such as myself or you'll be somewhat disappointed that it's not C-kay's usual R&b stuff. But if you enjoy other genres of music as well, this should sit fine with you. ^-^ But I'm more a fan of R&B so I don't favor this Cd much.

Good, but not good enough Customer Review Rated Bad 5 - 5 out of 10
This album is alright. I feel that Kuri didn't really put her heart into many of these songs. So far the only new song I like on this album is "LOVE it TAKE it". I like "Bye My Darling" and "flowers", but I already have those in single format, so I feel that this album was a bit of a let-down.
When I saw Kuri on TV singing duets with Sowelu, I was so touched by her rich voice. But then when I listened to this album, it irritated me that the vocals are so generic. Anyone could have sung these songs, and because of that it's not really special.
I'm a great supporter of J-R&B, but this album wasn't what I hoped it would be.

Crystal Kay's amazing Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This album has got to be one of the best I've heard ever since Love & Honesty from BoA. Her smooth R&B vocals on the middle of the album is just wild. The track "Flower" is just a big 10 out of 10. The tune is soft and her voice is great. Probably, in my opinion, better than Utada, BoA, and Ayumi combined.
