All aboard the good ship Cupid One! Singer Sally Yeh (The Killer) stars as May, a spoiled heiress who stows away on the Cupid One, a small yacht en route to Thailand. May hides on board to escape the advances of her screwy fiance, only to discover a much more threatening guy on board the ship! Mark Cheng is Keung, the rough, handsome captain of the Cupid One, and a guy who doesn't take to May's spoiled ways. When two totally opposite people are confined in such a small space together, it begs the question: will they be able to survive, or will they kill each other first? Or will opposites attract and romance blossom instead? I coame across this VCD recently and bought it because I am a fan of Sally Yeh.

Not knowing much about what this was all about, I was pleasantly suprised that I enjoyed the movie very much.

This was Mark Cheng's debut movie and he was great. He acted with such intensity that I was not suprised to know he won an award for this as Best new Performer back in 1985!

Both Sally Yeh and Mark Cheng had chemistry on screen and their onscreen passion sizzled!

the two characters meet when sally was driving to her engagement party, and accidently hits mark's car . pushing it over the side of a hill. they meet up again when she (in a drunken stupor after her party)stumbles onto the cupid one. he is to deliver a boat in the morning. when he discovers her it was too late to turn back. so it looks like it's going to weeks of trying to tolerate each other's existance.... until love strikes. i love this movie. especially when they were on the boat. i love mark's passion and the intensity of his feelings.

This is a wonderfully touching movie! Like the first reviewer, I have watched it many times and each time is as great as the first. There is comedy mixed within this romance and you can't help but get pulled into the story. A must see! on my list.

This movie remains enjoyable no matter how many times I watched it. It's funny and romantic. Mark is such a hunk. Totally worth it!
