Custom Made 10.30 is a mix of fiction and real life, of documentary footage and teenage drama. In their acting debuts, legendary guitarist Okuda Tamio stars as himself, while Saku Saku VJ Kimura Kaela is one of his biggest fans. Manamo (Kimura) and her younger sister Minamo (Saimon Erika) have lived separately since their parents were divorced ten years ago. Minamo moved to London with her father, whereas Manamo lives alone in Hiroshima.

When Minamo arrives unannounced on Manamo's doorstep after a fight with their dad, Manamo's life is thrown into upheaval, as the girls are both forced to live together, and realize they don't know each other at all. With the fabric of their family unit already stretched to breaking point, some celestial intervention is required and decides a night at Okuda Tamio's infamous October 30, 2004 concert is just what the girls need.
