- The enhancement of the sound quality of a XRCD over a conventional CD can be distinguished by its clarity, transparency and dynamics. With a XRCD, listener will be able to listen to sound quality which is almost the same as that from the original master tape. A XRCD can simply be played on a normal CD player.
