　　金焰（1910至1983）原名金德麟。生於北韓漢城，後入中國籍。1929年起當電影演員，主演了《野草閒花》《桃花泣血記》《三個摩登女性》《乘龍快婿》《母親》《暴風雨中的雄鷹》等到影片，是二、三十年代最受歡迎的男演員之一。

　　帝國主義國家侵略中國時，金哥領導一群年輕的築路工人建造一條重要的軍用公路，遭到敵人阻撓。金哥等被抓起來嚴刑拷打。頑強工人們把公路修築完。瘋狂的敵機前來轟炸，金哥等犧牲了，但在他們修築的軍用公路上，一輛輛抗戰的軍車向前方駛去……
