Music Great....

But I am chronically amazed at reviewers' need to attack other reviews at this site. STICK TO THE MUSIC. This singer is phenomenal and her vocals have a wide range and superb effect throughout. However, as always I am incensed at the other reviewer stating there are no English tracks. That may be true in completion (meaning a 100% English song)... But, to a non-Japanese listener, several songs DO INDEED have a lot of English lyrics, and hence the posting. Can't everyone post their own thoughts without censure? This is why I rarely read reviews and even more rarely comment on them. Most people would rather evaluate other writer's than the actual singer. Isn't that a shame? Anyway...this singer is really good, but yes...I do agree...to a new Japanese pop fan, the excessive English in some tracks may be distracting. Come on...that's just the way it is. Like it or not. Some of us are more used to it than other's and hey...it brings a new perspective. Deal with it. Both ways. Otherwise, it's perfect. We all have thoughts...can't we express them nicely? |

Shame

It's a shame, really, that Yuko doesn't have more stuff out. She's one of the more talented artists in the H!P (She's more talented than Aya Matsuura) and she deserves more exposure and more attention than what she gets. She has a beautiful voice although her PVs can be a bit boring. I recommend this album to people who want mature H!P music. |

I ordered 4 CDs on this order from YesAsia and this is the ONLY one I love. The singer is lower-register soprano with a peaceful and melodic voice. But, she sings up-tempo songs with aplomb too! She has numerous talents and the songs are well-written and well-sung. This is a new release and I really reccommend it to the masses! I can't believe no one else has reviewed this masterpiece yet. I have owned it for one day and played it through 4 times. She is unique and marvelous. The three English songs are my least favorite because they disrupt the flow on other-wise perfect songs. I think she should have only Japanese on her CDs. I must say though...I can't wait until she releases another album. I will buy it for sure. She has an uncluttered style that is still refined and pleasant and makes life seem bearable for a little while. She makes peace seem to flow and her energy revitalize you through the CD player. If you like music to escape from reality and be happy...but relaxed (but NOT put to sleep)...BUY THIS CD NOW! Seriously. It is great and so is the singer. |
