Portable rhythm games reach a whole new level with Daigasso! Band Brothers DX, the sequel to the 2005 Nintendo DS hit Daigasso! Band Brothers. The original was the amateur musician's dream - a game that allowed them to inhabit a single part of a larger band, integrating the player's playing into a larger band of instruments. DX brings back the fun with 30 new tracks, 50 usable instruments, and a whole slew of new features, including touchscreen guitar strumming and even a karaoke mode. Would-be crooners can now sing along with the band, and the game will judge your tone in the same way that it judges your instrument playing!

A full two-octave range can be achieved using the DS's multiple buttons and inputs, allowing for sweet sounding tunes. Players can even compose their own songs with an edit mode. Network connectivity is utilized, with up to six players playing locally using a single game card. Up to 100 songs can be downloaded via Nintendo's Wi-Fi Connection, and of you have a Wii, DX can talk to it, too. A game-specific Wii Channel called "Speaker Channel" sends your DS's audio to your television, allowing for even more people to enjoy your Daigasso music skills!
