Known for humanist dramas like Nobody Knows and Still Walking, acclaimed director Kore-eda Hirokazu returns to his documentary filmmaking roots for the 2008 feature Daijobu de Aruyoni: Cocco Owaranai Tabi (a.k.a. Cocco's Endless Journey). The documentary's subject is Cocco, an Okinawan J-pop singer of aboriginal Lewchewan descent whom Kore-eda was inspired to film after watching her perform at Japan's Live Earth concert. Daijobu de Aruyoni: Cocco Owaranai Tabi follows Cocco's tenth anniversary Kira Kira Live Tour as well as her daily life in Okinawa, giving voice to the environmental issues she champions and her endless journey in search of hope and music.
First Press Limited Edition comes with a CD of Tori no Uta, a 16-page booklet, and a B3-sized poster.
