A must seen tv series. Damo has a great story line with a superb character.Ha Ji Won is awesome. She's really great here in the tv series. The Story line, the setting and sound track is really great.I Highly recommend this tv series. :-)

You want the Best Korean Drama Buy this it is FANTASTIC!! Everything is done to perfection the scenery it is spectacular. Stunts assume!! In my eyes a most beautiful and Wonderful actress Ha Ji Won She is so Great. First I catch Lee Seo Jin in Phoenix and got hooked now I ordered this DAMO he is better in this...WOW I just finished watching it and wanted to write to you all and Say: BUY IT, SAVE IT and watch it many times a GREAT story. Hay I am just over whelmed with it. Being an Non Asian Male American who has been traveling Asia for work, I find This Drama is in my top 3 three movies I ever had the pleasure of Watching. now I will watch Stairway to Heaven Korean Art should be seen by more Americans they are on the money!

Damo is a must see. The cast was awesome! Especially Lee Seo Jin who did not disappoint. And I found the brother to be totally hot.

I cried my eyes out at the end!

i know that this korean drama came out awhile ago but i just finished wating it and it was so good!! I think Ha Ji Won did a great job in this drama, better then Something Happened in Bali. I don't really like old historic drama's but this one was a must see drama. It mixes the past and has alittle touch of moden day. i really think this is a best drama every. So go and see it!!!!!

I am absolutely love this drama from the main charaters to the supporting casts....everyone with their own reason for love/hate relationship and fight for what they believed in...so much charisma between them and the ending is just perfect because there was no other way around it..one tiny flaw..it needed more extras to make it perfect.

Best drama since "Summer Scent" & "Love Letter"!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Not to exaggerate or anything but this action/drama is amongst the BEST w/ the likes of Summer Scent, Love Letter, & Stairway to Heaven! My girlfriend & I were glued to the tv set every night until 3am in the morning! The mix of action & emotional moments w/ breathtaking scenery kept us wanting more! Ha Ji Won's acting has really improved & matured since her appearance in Ditto. Kim Min Joon(who plays "Jang Sung Baek" aka "Jang Jae Mo") and Lee Seo Jin(plays "Commander Yoon Hwangbo") also acted very well! The story is about Ha Ji Won's character Chae Ohk(who's real name is Jang Jae Hui) and her brother Jang Jae Mo who she got seperated from when they were young due to an investigation of their father. Chae Ohk became a slave girl to the son of a mistress Yoon Hwangbo and Jang Sung Baek became a rebel who studied the way of the sword from a monk to free himself & the people of fuedal Korea. Yoon Hwangbo also learns the way of the sword from the same monk and becomes commander of the Left Police Bureau. Yoon Hwangbo & Chae Ohk falls into a suppressed love while growing up but the never tells each other their feelings. During an investigation where Chae Ohk is undercover as a rebel to uncover a conspiracy, she meets Jang Sung Baek but she doesn't know Sung Baek is really her long lost older brother Jang Jae Mo and falls in love w/ him knowing that one day she will have to kill him. Sung Baek who has been seeking his sister for 15 years, saves Chae Ohk several times and falls for her. Through all the conspiracies and turn of events, Yoon Hwangbo dies and Chae Ohk and Sung Baek battles it out to their deaths. In the end, Chae Ohk finally learns that Jang Sung Beak is really her long lost older brother Jang Jae Mo after she strikes him w/ her sword! Overall, this series is a definate MUST BUY for anyone who loves Korean dramas!! No BS.. you will not be disappointed!!

DAMO - BEST TV DRAMA SERIES Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I purchased the DAMO DVD two weeks ago and watched the series twice already. DAMO is the best drama series that I have seen, and it is better than American and British TV drama. The intricate plot, film quality, acting talent, martial arts sequences, and the innovative music were excellent. Ha, Lee and Kim gave the best acting and the best spontaneous crying performances. It seemed as if all the characters had a crying moment which I had, throughout the series. My heart went out to Hwangbo Yoon everytime he cried or smiled(at Chae-Ohk). The English subtitles are not perfect but were greatly appreciated by a non-Korean, English only speaking individual as myself. If DAMO could be retooled into a three-hour epic movie(an impossibility, perhaps) and released theatrically in North America, it would rank alongside the Chinese masterpieces about a crouching tiger, a hero and flying daggers. Of course, the general audience would be crying throughout the movie.

"Damo" is one of my favorite Korean dramas. The action sequences aren't all that great but everything else is. The scenery is breathtaking, the acting is convincing, and the drama is heartbreaking. I love the fact that everything isn't directly centered around the love between the main characters. This Korean drama shows there's more to life than falling love. I can't really explain in words how awesome this drama is but I recommend it to everyone. Unlike what some reviewers might be saying, this drama does not promote incest.

Wow! I didn't think it would be as good as I thought it would.
But honestly, I thought that in some scene it was kind of a low-budget film...but still the story kept me watching. Also..I didn't really like the fact that..damo had to fall inlove with her brother..that was disgusting...but yet I blocked that out of my mind..hoping that it wasn't her brother. Overall..I thought this movie is pretty good..the story line and music and everything! I guess I recommend this damo movie to others.

Well I thought the movie was great! I think it was very sad. I liked alot. Ha Ji Won is a great actress. I think it would be better if Jae-mo wasnt Chae-ohk's brother. Its sort of digusting and it hurts alot. But anyways i thought the movie was REALLY good! Damo is one of the best movies i've ever seen!
