MUST SEE!
| A must see drama with so much inner emotions of all 3 main characters..each with their own reason to fight for what they believe..all the actors even the supporting characters portraited their characters to the fullest...so much chemistry between them that they made you felt it while watching it..and the ending just perfect because of there was no other way around it...love every minute of it... |

Acting with Their Soul

I think the three leading actress and actors deserve the highest complements for their acting in this drama series. They totally immersed themselves with emotion while playing their parts. In the TV interview that follows the series, all three of them with tears rolling or filling in their eyes when talked about their characters in the series. I think why their performances were so successful because they really gave of themselves in playing the tragic figures. The cave episode really moves me. (Note: I wish yesasia.com will provide subtitle for the extras in their future drama series.) |

| Its confusing on the beginning, but after you start to watch the story develope and charactors are slowly became represent on the story. I think its a good meaning between love and respected on this movie. the casts are great and the story running fast and not boring at all. recommomend to watch. |

WONDERFUL!

at first glance i refused to even watch this series. but one day i was bored and put this thing on...and hell yeah =) it got me within a few minutes. this series is definetly the BEST series ive ever seen till now. great actors,fantastic story (though i dont know why Damo didnt realize that the rebell is her brother... she seemed to be supersmart in the course of the happenings). if you dont enjoy it,there must be something wrong with you ^^ btw i fell in love with lee seo jin right away *haha |

The best!!!
| I think this is one of the best dramas EVER. The actors was great, the characters were great, the story was great. The swordplay was not up to Crouching Tiger standards, but if you're more into the story, then it doesn't really matter. I usually don't expect much from a lot of dramas, but I absolutely loved Damo. I bought it right after I saw it. |

Damo is the best drama i have ever seen
|
I must appreciate the film maker and staff that make Damo so interesting to watch. I enjoy the drama a lot even though it's sad, but it's so logical that I can't find any gap in there. I've seen so many Korean dramas such as "Stairways to heaven", "Winter Sonata", "Dae Jang Geum", "Autumn in my heart"...but I haven't felt much sadness...I LOVE DAMO. Especially, the 3 main characters Ha Ji Won, Lee Seo Jin, and Kim Min Joon are excellent in acting in a way that makes people cry naturally. I enjoy the music as well. Those theme songs are my favorite ones. I don't have my own Damo, but I guess I would want to buy this drama even though it's not cheap. This drama keeps me awake the whole nights. I didn't want to go to bed because I wanted to keep watching it. It's so charming. Again I would like to thank the staff who made Damo as well as actors. The drama is touchable. |

What would you want more from a series???
| If you are torn between a man of justice and a man for the people, who would you choose? Who is to say one is more right than the other? Is the law always right and fair or the rebellion of the oppressed always wrong? These are issues that the viewer is faced when watching Damo. I was very impressed to see how the makers put the plot together so beautifully. All the character developments was well thought out and put together. I have seen many swordplay series where there is good action ONLY. However, Damo not only comprises of good action sequences, but also has a lot of good emotion depiction. All of the main characters were very talented. I think that Ha Ji Won is one of the most talented Korean actresses. The movie guide was very handy because I am not from Korean decent and it helped me understand the series better. The characters and storyline was so compelling, it seems to have a life of its own!!! Many individuals complained about the ending, but I thought it was a good one. It shows the steps that an individual would take to commit to loyalty and love, even if it is tragic. This drama is more complex than action or love alone. It involves a lot of politics, ethics, philosophy, and issues weve seen throughout history. For the price, you should definitely get it because it is very good quality and I guarantee, wont waste your time at all!!! I bought the series last week and already watched it twice! (The OST is very very good too; it evokes many emotions that the characters experience!) |

One of the best!!
| This is the only Korean drama that I have watched from the first to the last episode without skipping. The acting, the scenery and the whole production are superior to most action films even though this is a TV series. My only criticism is why does everyone has to die in the end? This is becoming too repititive in Korean TV dramas and I am not sure audience likes it that much. If I were the script writer, I would have the brother retiring to the remote mountains where he couldn't be found and the sister joining him after finding out his true identity, leaving the rest to the audience's imagination. |

One of, if not , the best drama by far...

I can honestly say that I've never had the most patience in the world when it came to things I liked, or even loved. In this case I made an exception, or more appropriately, I had no real choice in the matter. From the action packed opening sequences, to the (for lack of a better word) FITTING ending, I was definitely glued to my tv. The actors played their parts so well, especially Ha Ji Won that you couldn't help but feel for them. Chae Ohk's love, as imperfect as it may seem, is made all the more beautiful because it IS imperfect. Her steadfastness in her beliefs, which never once became preachy, and the passion with which she approached every situation made the series that much better. And of course, the final scenes where she finally comes to a realization of whom she really loved definitely made it harder to see the series end. And YES, I believe there was a resolution to her feelings though late in coming. It wasn't so much that she loved one and not the other, but it was more akin to her being able to sort out and differentiate her love for both. Watch it carefully and you'll agree with me. I came into this drama with an 'empty cup' as they say, with no expectations either good or bad... buy it, watch it, judge it for yourself... do that and believe you me, you will not be disappointed. |

Greatest drama ever watched
| I remembered the first time I encountered this drama when I was in a Chinese hotel during a trip to Tsingdao last November. I was completely captured by this impressive drama masterpiece which was so prominent from any drama I watched ever. The characters were so impressing especially the rebel leader which I later found out to be played by KIM. He is such an character of exceptional charm. When you looked into his eyes, You felt the emotion, passion. The story is good and action is excellent. I really loved Damo so much ! |
