Ran out of steam!

Actually around the middle of the series, the author started running out of ideas and recycled a lot of his previous plot points from Kindaichi. When I read the episode about using an industrial magnet as a killing device, I know at that point the end is near. Then, there's the drawing style - no improvement at all, same old style as that in Kindaichi. The plot has always been the attraction; without it the drawing style just sticks out like a sore thumb. |
