The newly released "Perfect Celebration" edition comes with a DVD containing music videos of all 11 tracks in the album. Jolin traveled to Budapest, Hungary to shoot the music video for A Wonder in Madrid, and her beautiful vintage look goes perfectly with the European scenery. In addition, Leste Chen (The Heirloom), one of Taiwan's most promising young directors, was especially invited to direct the music video for Pretense. Very good!!!!!

This is the most excellent album of Jolin Tsai. All the songs are very cool. Track 1, 3, 5, 8 are the ones that I recommend you to listen. Jolin's style music in this album attracts me a lot: sexy, romantic and "HOT". The DVD included are really good, too. |

Dancing around with the diva

This is great CD! It is really great for dancing music, but I don't recommend this for everyone. DVD is also really good. It was really good move to make PV of every song. Only thing that I don't like for this album is probably that it is maybe little bit cheesy and it won't be recomend for everyone, but if you like dance-music and ballads I recomend this one for you. My Favourites are 1,2,3,5,6 & 8 and others are OK or boring. |

I spent ages never paying any attention to Jolin Tsai due to people's opinions of her on a forum just cause the majority of them don't like any Chinese music what-so-ever. Then I heard Jay Chou, Sun YanZi, Sammi Cheng, Kelly Chen and Rainie Yang. And just the other day I heard Jolin. She's really good, and who cares about ballads and cover songs!? All Chinese artists do that to my knowledge. SHE's probably about the worst one for that and to be perfectly honest, I couldn't care. Also, I love American artists as well like Kelly Clarkson and Evanesence so I'm not just falling into some trend. I really do think she and these others can sing. The MVs on the DVD are wonderful as well. You'll enjoy listening to each and every one of these. You really will, so go click on that little green button and add this to your cart! It's worth the pennies. |

Jolin is basically packaged to produce a profit. Everything from her revealing clothing to her edgy dance moves is meant to appeal to the masses. And so they do. Even I, the anti-Jolin, cannot help but admit that Jolin's songs are catchy and instant hits. It is a shame that most of the fast songs are covers, though. Nonetheless, the songs are great for some shallow listening and the music videos all look like they cost a whole lot of money. The downfall of this album is the collection of slow songs: boring, uninventive, repetitive. Only track #4 "Jiazhuang" won't put me into a temporary coma. What a shame they take up half the album. The upbeat tracks, on the other hand, are rather enjoyable. They're not the creations of lyrical geniuses or brilliant composers, but still fresh. In an odd "I have nothing else exciting to listen to" sort of way. |

Not bad for Jolin first CD at new Company. I buy the HK Version and I buy this Taiwain Version. I like the Taiwain version more because both CD and DVD are in a case not like the HK Version, the DVD is in a paper case. A good thing about HK Version is that it come with a Free Close Up Photo or Budapest Photo. Overall, this CD is good. Jolin is good for Fast songs and her slow songs in this CD is very very slow. But overall, recommend to buy. So go grab it everyone!!!!!!!!!! |
