January 9, 2007 Compilation
Something to Remember by Madonna, I believe this is her second compilation CD. It was released in 1995 which is probably the time when her music career was starting to peak, but of course she makes one comeback after another with her ever changing image. That is why she is the number one top female artist in the US and around the globe.
This is a nice compilation CD worth to have. Favorites are: I'll Remember, Take a Bow, Crazy For You, Something to Remember, Rain, I Want You.

True Blue (Japan Version)
January 9, 2007 Worth a listenTo me this is not Madonna's best CD. However it is still worth a listen. There are some nice songs in here which are not included in any of her compilations such as: White Heat, Where's the Party and True Blue. White Heat is a terrific song with quite a nice beat. When you listen to it, you will think about those old black and white Hollywood gangster movies. A great song to listen to during the summer time, makes you feel the heat and think White Heat (no pun or humor intended). The other noteworthy songs and more well-known to fans are: Papa Don't Preach, Open Your Heart, Live to Tell, La Isla Bonita. A nice CD to own, but still not her best CD, but still nice to own it.

January 9, 2007 Not that greatIn the Zone by Britney Spears is not that great of a CD. I liked her Oops! I Did It Again CD. Oops! I Did It Again showcased a young Britney with the image of pure innocence waiting in anticipation to grow up. The music and singing were great.
In the Zone is not that great. The music is not that great. The lyrics are not that great. The innocent nice girl-next-door image has changed to a wild child and being a sex symbol. It seems this CD is just the cover looks good but the music is not good. When I first heard Brave New Girl, I thought it was kind of good. After a while you get tired of the sound quite quickly. Then you just get bored.

(36)Our Price: US$28.49Usually ships within 1 to 2 daysJanuary 9, 2007 Nice performanceI am not too much a fan of Hong Kong concerts. My girlfriend got this for me as a Christmas present. She knows I like music from Hong Kong and Taiwan. So she bought this for me to surprise me. The performance is nice. The presentation of the concert is good. The atmosphere and the audience's spirits were good. The costumes were nice and made Vivian Chow look beautiful and full of grace. She has very good stage presence. Hong Kong singers don't often dance at their concerts. They really should learn how to dance. She does not dance in this concert. The part where she does a medley is not dancing. She is just walking and using her hands to make nice looking turns and circular waves. That is not considered dancing. The beginning of the concert she does some moderately quick steps but it just looks like walking at a faster pace with a little step here and there to make it not look too plain. It is a good concert and nice performance worth to watch again.

January 9, 2007 Some really great vocals
A-Mei Chang is one of my favorite Taiwanese female Pop divas. This 1998 double CD set is my favorite. I love all the songs. Disc 1 is all Mandarin songs and Disc 2 is all English songs. The music style is basic mainstream Pop. Some songs contain a nice pop dance beat. A great double CD set that won't disappoint.

January 9, 2007 Lots of TalentElva Hsiao is absolutely the diva of Taiwanese Pop Music. There is no doubt about that. The girl can sing her heart out. She's got a lot of talent and her own personal style. She's got a terrific voice. And a magnificent sex symbol. 1087 contains a variety of music styles. I think she is trying to experiment with different kinds of music for fun. This CD is most likely meant to be fun and it may not be suitable for everyone's taste. The tracks I liked #1,2,3,6,7,11. In my opinion this is an interesting CD. Another addition to my Elva Hsiao collection. I can't wait for her next CD to see what she does.
