February 2, 2006 Simply the best!This album will be proof of Koda Kumi's greatness. There will be no filer on this album. Every track has been cafefully written and composed, many of the songs being penned by Kumi herself. Each one of her 12 singles will be on here including a new song and a bonus track "A Whole New World". This is definitely the best Koda Kumi album so far! Did you find this review helpful? Singles like "Do The Motion" and "make a secret" showed a departure from what we were used to from this Asian pop diva, not to mention that her disappointing Korean album "Girls on Top" was nothing but filer, and "Dakishimeru" was a generic pop disaster.
Despite this, BoA has come back for the new year with the amazing song "Everlasting" which shows a new sign of maturity for BoA and pulls her out of the musical slump she's had to face. "Everlasting" is a beautiful pop-ballad that puts "Every Heart" to shame; " Don't pass up "Sounscape"! It's another great song with an R&B tinge to it! And the classical version of "Everlasting" is just as good if not better than the original!
If you're the type of person who actually buys CD's then I may have to ask you to pass this one up if you haven't got it already. BoA's new album "Outgrow" will be out soon, and it will have "Everlasting" and "Soundscape" on it. I'd only get this if you're hard-pressed to listen to the classical version of the song, or if you oddly enough like uneeded instumentals.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)
