擁有最少十名成員的本地流行樂隊ＬＭＦ，以Hip-Hop或Rap的語言，透過大膽露骨的歌詞，探討社會現象及樂壇光怪陸離的情況，唱出今日年青一代的離經背道與徨惑不安。
ＬＭＦ所帶來的音樂訊息或令成年人為之側目，但對他們的忠實擁躉來說，ＬＭＦ的創作正好代表他們的「發聲」。ＬＭＦ的音樂不僅觸動心弦，並以赤裸裸的方式呈現年青一代的渴望、夢想、困惑、喜怒哀樂，以及對社會的不滿與怨憤。

"DARE YA!" explores what has made the members of Hong Kong's most controversial band, LMF [ LazyMuthaFuckaz], the new "Voice" of Hong Kong youth. It also loks at what makes each member the individual that he is.
With their explicit tell-it-like-it-is lyrics that speak of today's questioning youth market, the 10-member LMF address issues that have always been at the core of teen-angdt music - but the difference being that, for the first time, the subject matter tackled is what is pimarily relevant to the young and the restless of Hong Kong.
Their music may raise eyebrows with the older generation, but to their hardcore fan base. LMF's point of view is their "voice"and their music is the heartbeat - and their hopes, dreams, nigtmares, concerns, problems and solutions for their future.
As the title of this raw, different, relevant and timely film suggests, "DARE YA!" is a challenge to Hong Kong to take a good look at itself, warts and all, because only by facing up to out flaws can we become the "World City" that we aspire to .
Dare Ya is not just a documentary about the explits and growth of tem ordinary young men from the Estates who just happen to be members of a rap band, but a wake-up call for Hong Kong.

| This film is about LMF and their rise from the housing projects of Hong Kong. Though some may deem their music as obscene, their songs do carry a message about topics that affect HK society. You will also gain a glimpse into LMF and their views on love, the news media, and the music industry in HK. Sure, they may smoke alot, drink alot, and curse alot, but don't most bands do that? I suggest you watch this documentary if you are a true LMF fan! |
