Memories... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I remember hearing this song at the ending of Casshern and the ending was so emotional that it brought tears to my eyes. This song is so moving and just perfect for the movie ending. ^_^

Utada Hikaru is my first and favorite female j-pop artist. No music by her has ever disappointed me.

emotional Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
very emotional, very beautiful ballad. I get very serious when I listen to it and I can never turn it off right away...I have to wait 'till it completely stops.

It's so beautiful. Please give it a chance!

Gorgeous ballad with a somber message Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
"Dareka..." is the theme song to the monster hit film Casshern, which was directed by Hikki's husband, Kiriya Kazuaki. It's a somber, thoughtful ballad with a powerful message: Hikki says the song serves as a reminder that whenever she's experiencing happiness, someone else is suffering heartbreak. "Dareka..." is one of Hikki's most gorgeous songs, and is definitely deserving of a spot on her next Japanese album.

Beautiful Song Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is a beautiful song, I think it's one of Hikki's best. I heard it first time after the actual film so i think that's why it made such an impact on me (now it always gives me goosebumps).
I think this song shows of Hikki's talented voice very well and I think it's one of her best performances.

What a sad song... Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Hikki's latest Japanese single is a slow and depressing ballad. I think this song is very beautiful and it has sad lyrics as well. It's not as good as her previous releases, but it's still good as a single.

A Beautiful Song. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Utada-san's vocals really shine in this single. One of the most beautiful songs I've ever encountered, both vocally and compositionally, "Dareka no Negai ga Kanau Koro" simply overflows with pure emotion. A superb addition to any JPOP collection, it remains one of my favorite CDs of all time. And with the instrumental track you can sing along, which is a great bonus!

Nice, but nothing special Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
This single was a let-down for me. Don't get me wrong, Dareka no Negai ga Kanau Koro is a very pretty song. But it's very boring in comparison to her old works. I also think she made it in too high a register for her voice. She just barely makes the high notes in the studio version. I shudder imagining her performing it live.

For Some Reason She's In A League of her own Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Yes she has to be one of the most unique singers of them all. She was the first I ever heard when I fist started listening to J-pop and she is the best. I wish I could marry her :P. She is so pretty and sounds so wounderfuul. The guy who does marry her is so lucky!
