A Philippines-set action thriller, Dark War casts popular television star Peter Ho as triad hitman Ken, who's sent to the slammer after a botched job. Ken is neglected while stuck in the joint, despite the fact that his brother has just been promoted to the top of the triad ranks! An assassination attempt on Ken soon follows, but he manages to escape with the help of a former gangster played by Japanese martial artist Kurada Hoshou. Now Ken can return to the underworld and exact revenge from those who've wronged him! Peter Ho gives an intense performance as the wronged Ken, and the sexy Pinky Cheung co-stars, along with Sammo Hung's son Hung Tin Ming. Thanks to frequent, bloody action sequences and some potent triad melodrama, Dark War is an engaging and entertaining action-thriller.

WORTH TO WATCH
| I bought this movie because of Peter Ho. This must be one of his earliest movies, 'cos his act wasn't as mature as he had shown in his other later movies and TV series. The story is kind of interesting, one don't know what the final ending is until you watch it till the end. |

ok movie..
| I didn't understand the whole plot of the movie. You could never tell whether it was a flashback or the present..overall..it was ok...not that good but worth watching. |
