I thought her brilliant last CD "Love Paranoia" would be hard to beat, but "Circle Cycle" comes very close. Another collection of fantastic songs from Kou.
She`s in my top 10 Japanese female singers. Highly recommended.

On The Way Home
May 11, 2012 Back to FormAfter her disappointing 2009 CD, this is a real return to form for Penny.
Lots to be enjoyed here, including the standout track 4, which is just gorgeous.

Her best by a country mile and a terrific set of songs. She`s one of the best Taiwanese singers to emerge in years and its no surprise her popularity is growing. Her voice is awesome.
This CD is in my top 3 Mandarin CDs for 2011. Brilliant.

December 30, 2011 More Pop BrillianceMore pop heaven from the girls. Another great CD. Even the title track sounds better on the album, which at first sounded like their weakest track.
Its unfortunate though that some English words come out so funny. Take track 2, one of the best tracks. 'Telepathy' becomes 'Telepassy'. Korean and Japanese singers really shouldn`t try and handle English words they can`t pronounce. Hopefully thats not too much of a criticism and sorry if it caused offence.
That aside, this is another 10/10. I`m still waiting for their appearance to liven up the dull British charts. Its only a matter of time.

This CD is a huge return to form, possibly her best since 'Lucy' back in 2001. A fine collection of songs to showcase her gorgeous voice. None more so than track 12, my favourite.

August 5, 2011 Quite simply, brilliant.A-Mei`s position as Taiwan`s greatest ever pop diva doesn`t look like abating as yet another brilliant CD hits our players.
Ditching the rock sound of previous CDs, A-mei returns to a more gentler sound, which is what she does best. Her voice still sounds as good as always and she remains my second all time favourite Asian singer behind Faye Wong.

Elva is amazing. I could list all sorts of superlatives to describe her talent, but I don`t have the time. Up and coming singers should use Elva as a benchmark for their own careers. If you turn out half as good as she is you`ll be doing well.
Another fantastic CD. Buy it, you won`t regret it.

Honestly, she puts a smile on my face everytime I listen to her music and I could listen to her all day. She`s easily one of my favourite Taiwanese singers.

April 6, 2011 Superb MusicNot enough superlatives can describe Girls Generation. Its surely only a matter of time before they become the first Korean girl group to make the UK charts. Recently I was in a hi-fi shop in the UK and Girls Generation were on all the TV screens.
Its not hard to see why they appeal so much, their music is just about the perfect pop music. Their beautiful harmonies can be enjoyed by people of all ages and they are head and shoulders above all other Korean girl groups. Its feel good music at its best with superb production values.
This second CD is just as brilliant as their first. Buy it and enjoy.

I would place her in my top 5 favourite Chinese female singers. One superb CD is a great achievement, but now we are talking 4 top class collections of music. I could listen to Jane Zhang all day.
If you are just getting into Chinese music, I would highly recommend this latest CD and indeed any of her back catalogue. Again, for the 4th time, her CD gets 10/10.

There`s something to discover with each listen, especially in the epic 15 minute, track 9, possible the best Mandarin track of 2010.
Her previous CDs have all been good, but this one is a real gem and to be honest, one that really took me by surprise. Superb.

September 17, 2010 SuperbBOA`s first Korean CD for ages is definitely worth the wait. Superb from start to finish and the best Korean CD by a female singer since Uhm Jung Hwa`s 'Self Control'.
Gorgeous voice, great songs. 10/10
