Not that special
| Fans of Every Little Thing will probably have their attention grabbed with new group Day After Tomorrow since the producer is Mitsuru Igarashi, former member and producer of ELT. The instrumentation is similar with keyboards and guitar reminiscent of the old ELT, but Misono's (lead singer) voice is too young and just not as wonderful and distinct as Kaori's voice. Since Misono's voice is so young and the song itself is extremely generic, this sounds like nothing more than a new single from girl groups Zone or Folder 5. It isn't bad, especially for a debut, but I'm giving all credit of that accomplishment to Mitsuru, and when it comes down to it Every Little Thing is so much better... |

Similar but nicely done.
| The previous reviewer Meredith Mallory probably stated the words I am going to write. However, rather than comparing this band with Garnet Crow, I would like to compare this band with ELT. This band sounds and looks something really similar with ELT. Although I don't want to say this band is a pure clone but they do have something in common. Remember ELT used to have a vocalist + guitarist + keyboarder? Well, this band looks the same. As to the music, the vocalist had a clear cute voice that's good for easy listening. Also, their music style is quite near with ELT when compared. Again, this is something new so give it a try if you were a fan of ELT's stuff. |

a strange, but wonderful taste
|
I want to compair DAT to Garnet Crow-- but they're too different. The only similarity is that both bands offer something no one else has. The lead singer for DAT has an unpolished, honest voice-- very different, very pretty. This single has a wide range of songs (love the pipe organ in Prize). Over all, I happily suggest this to anyone looking for interesting new music. |
