poppy and cutesy Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
*dear friend is the main song for the drama *top caster starring yada akiko. it is a poppy and cutesy girly song. it is just like one of those slumber party songs for teenage girls to put on. it is nothing to take too serious. it is a song that is just meant to be fun. i liked it.

cute song Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
i like sowelu and think this song - dear friend - is cute. it is not heavy with a deep message or anything. it's just a fun and cutesy song. it is medium pace - not too fast and not too slow. yeah after a few listens to it a person can easily get bored because the music is very typical pop. i like sowelu and think she sing well. this song is just a cute song.

Hmm...not her best Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Although I'm probably one of her biggest fans, this Sowelu single just didn't turn out how I wanted. I love her pop music as much as her R&B music, but this single just doesn't fit her voice at all. Moreover, the music gets irritating after a few listens and really destroys the repeat value. The b-side was worth it at least, "Yume" is a dreamy ballad, nothing forced, just smooth Sowelu at her best. I do like the new approach with the cover, I wasn't a very big fan of the fake tan and extra cleavage. I really hope her third album will offer some new stuff for us Sowelu fans, because this single was a bit of a let down. Anyways, good luck Sowelu!
