Death Note is an absolutely awesome comic. It takes a genius to write such a plot. The story's intense and will lead the reader through a myriad of twists and suprises. Unlike much manga and anime out these, Death Note is not at all predictable. The characters are all very well developed, from personal views on the value of human life to little quirks such as liking extra sugar in one's tea, or being addicted to apples. The art is amazingly detailed and fits the comic's plot well. If you're looking for a happy, lovely, life-is-beautiful kind of story, this is not what you want. Death Note touches on many difficult subjects that will leave you questioning yourself, wondering how you would react in such a situation. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a thrilling story that will leave you thinking and keep you guessing. |
